Michel Klein is a French fashion designer, born in Paris in 1958, who began working alongside Yves Saint Laurent as a teenager before launching his own label in 1981 and later serving as artistic director of Guy Laroche. Known for moving apartments often, he furnished each one in the same eclectic, personal style, mixing vintage furniture, ethnic pieces and contemporary art. This Paris duplex, with its black steel staircase and mezzanine, was photographed by Jérôme Galland, interior photographer, for Elle Decoration.

Michel Klein est un styliste français né à Paris en 1958, qui a débuté aux côtés d'Yves Saint Laurent dès l'adolescence avant de lancer sa propre marque en 1981, puis de devenir directeur artistique de Guy Laroche. Habitué à changer souvent d'appartement, il a meublé chacun d'eux dans le même esprit éclectique et personnel, mêlant mobilier vintage, pièces ethniques et art contemporain. Ce duplex parisien, avec son escalier métallique noir et sa mezzanine, a été photographié par Jérôme Galland pour Elle Decoration.
