James Van Damme is a Belgian collector who ran a contemporary art gallery in Brussels in the late 1990s, showing artists such as Carlo Mistiaen, Heidi Specker and Fred Eerdekens. His home, featured in AD Magazine, sets a collection of contemporary paintings and sculpture — and his pet schnauzer — against spare, gallery-like architecture, including a narrow marble staircase. Jérôme Galland, working as a travel and interior photographer, photographed Van Damme in this setting.

James Van Damme est un collectionneur belge qui a dirigé, à la fin des années 1990, une galerie d'art contemporain à Bruxelles, exposant notamment Carlo Mistiaen, Heidi Specker et Fred Eerdekens. Son intérieur, présenté dans AD Magazine, confronte une collection de peintures et sculptures contemporaines — et son schnauzer — à une architecture épurée, presque muséale, dont un étroit escalier de marbre.
