The Donjon de Vez is a fourteenth-century fortified keep in the Oise, in northern France, largely rebuilt by Jean de Vez between 1390 and 1410 after the original castle was destroyed during the 1358 Jacquerie revolt. Since 1987 the tower and its garden — designed by landscape architect Pascal Cribier and classified as a Jardin Remarquable — have been given over to contemporary art exhibitions staged inside the medieval structure. Jérôme Galland, an interior photographer, documented this dialogue between Gothic stonework and contemporary installation for AD Magazine.

Le donjon de Vez est une forteresse du XIVe siècle dans l'Oise, largement reconstruite par Jean de Vez entre 1390 et 1410 après la destruction du château d'origine pendant la Jacquerie de 1358. Depuis 1987, la tour et son jardin — dessiné par le paysagiste Pascal Cribier et classé Jardin Remarquable — accueillent des expositions d'art contemporain installées à l'intérieur même de l'édifice médiéval.
