This is one of the houses belonging to French interior designer Jacques Grange in Comporta, on Portugal's Alentejo coast, pine forest and dunes he first discovered in the early 1990s, when the area was still a discreet former hunting estate of the Espírito Santo family. Grange, known for decades of work for clients including Yves Saint Laurent, later bought a house there built in the region's traditional thatched-roof style. Travel and interior photographer Jérôme Galland shot the property for AD Magazine, styled by Sylvie Thébaut with art direction by Olivier Foltzer.

Il s'agit de l'une des maisons du décorateur français Jacques Grange à Comporta, sur la côte portugaise de l'Alentejo, pinèdes et dunes qu'il a découvertes au début des années 1990, quand la région n'était encore qu'une discrète ancienne réserve de chasse de la famille Espírito Santo. Grange, connu pour avoir notamment travaillé pour Yves Saint Laurent, y a par la suite acheté une maison bâtie dans le style traditionnel à toit de chaume de la région. Jérôme Galland, photographe de voyage et d'intérieurs, a photographié la propriété pour AD Magazine, avec un stylisme de Sylvie Thébaut et une direction artistique d'Olivier Foltzer.
