Pierre Bergé, co-founder of the fashion house Yves Saint Laurent and a major collector of paintings, Art Deco furniture and antiquities, opened his Paris apartment to AD Magazine for this feature, produced by Marie Kalt and photographed by Jérôme Galland, interior photographer. With Yves Saint Laurent, Bergé had assembled one of the most celebrated private art collections in France, later dispersed in a landmark Christie's sale at the Grand Palais in February 2009. The gilded boiseries and checkerboard marble floor seen here reflect that decades-long pursuit of paintings and objects.

Cofondateur de la maison Yves Saint Laurent et grand collectionneur de peintures, de mobilier Art déco et d'antiquités, Pierre Bergé a ouvert son appartement parisien à AD Magazine pour ce reportage réalisé par Marie Kalt et photographié par Jérôme Galland, photographe d'intérieurs. Avec Yves Saint Laurent, il avait réuni l'une des collections d'art privées les plus célèbres de France, dispersée en février 2009 lors d'une vente historique de Christie's au Grand Palais. Les boiseries dorées et le sol en damier de marbre visibles ici témoignent de cette passion de collectionneur poursuivie pendant des décennies.
